Jameson Fink About the Blog
My blog preaches wine appreciation via unbridled enthusiasm, tempered by self-deprecation—conveying excitement adds refreshment to a subject normally presented more stoically. I want to educate, entertain, and encourage those looking to add a few more arrows of knowledge to their wine quiver. About Jameson
Moving from Chicago to Seattle a decade ago meant leaving behind ketchup-free hot dogs, but gaining ready access to Dungeness crab. What unites these disparate dishes is I want Champagne with both of them. I spent many years working as a wine buyer in a variety of retail settings, where thousands of conversations with customers greatly developed my casual yet knowledgeable approach to blogging. Sicily and Tasmania are my favorite wine destinations. I am a passionate advocate for the Champagne flute, salty-snack wine pairing, and year-round rosé consumption.

Vinography
Vinography

Alder Yarrow About the Blog
Vinography offers a mix of wine criticism, editorial, and news, with an emphasis on the stories of the people, places, and ideas behind wine, rather than technical analysis. These stories, gathered from my journeys around the world and closer to home in California, are what make wine memorable and meaningful. Vinography also regularly features the work of world-class photographers, including food photographer Leigh Beisch, with whom I collaborate on the well-known series The Essence of Wine. About Alder I’ve been publishing on Vinography daily since 2004, and I was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2013. I’m currently writing a monthly columnist for Jancis Robinson, and I’m the author of The Essence of Wine, a coffee table book about wine’s flavors and aromas that was named one of the best wine books of 2014 by The New York Times and Wine & Spirits Magazine. I live and drink in San Francisco.

Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews

Elaine Chukan Brown About the Blog
Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews tells the story outside the glass. Drawing on my previous career in philosophy, the work I do for Hawk Wakawaka is based on listening as hard as I can to tell the story of the wine, the producer, or the region in front of me. Then, I draw about it. When possible, visits include my daughter, Rachel, my video arts expertise. You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram @hawk_wakawaka. About Elaine
I’m a wine drawing philosopher with a heart of gold. Blessed with travel and in-depth time with producers, I use Hawk Wakawaka Wine Reviews to tell (and draw) more of the story. My work also appears in Wine & Spirits, World of Fine Wine, Men’s Health, and Serious Eats. Before writing about wine, I was a philosophy professor. I grew up commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska, where my family still lives in a salmon way. My favorite thing is moose meat.

Wine. All the Time

Marissa Ross About the Blog
Wine. All The Time documents my adventures in wine drinking through personal stories and comedy. There are so many people who want to learn about wine but don’t know where to start, and they find it unapproachable. I want to show people that you can buy, drink, and talk about wine without being a sommelier. You can just love wine, and from that love comes knowledge. About Marissa
I’m a comedy writer/performer and wine-drinker living in Los Angeles. I have no qualifications to write about wine aside from the fact that I drink it every day.
