Today's comic comes from Allen Yuen, the general manager at New York's exquisitely irreverent Lower East Side restaurant Mission Chinese Food (the first east coast outpost of the famed San Francisco spot). When he's not keeping the front-of-house wheels turning smoothly at his day job, Allen makes autobiographical comics drawn from his life—which, unsurprisingly, tend to have a lot to say about food. Here, he shares the recipe for his favorite dish on the Mission Chinese menu, Thrice-Cooked Bacon.
