Sotto Chinotto

Cola-like bittersweet, effervescent, and herbal, this cocktail is perfect for a hot summer afternoon. We based our recipe off of a drink developed by Dan Amatuzzi, Eataly's beverage director.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz. Chinotto
  • 1 oz. gin
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 2 leaves basil, thinly sliced
  • Sparkling white wine, such as Asti Spumante

Instructions

Step 1

In a collins glass filled with ice, mix together Chinotto, gin, lime juice, and basil. Top off with sparkling wine.
