This boozy, flavorful simple syrup is a quick way to deepen the flavors while adding sweetness to almost any cocktail. It was developed by Seattle mixologist Andrew Bohrer as a component of his Courting Rachel, an Old Fashioned doused in fresh hickory smoke.
