Fernet and Coke Granita

Inspired by the Argentine pairing, this intense cola and bitter amaro-flavored granita is the perfect digestif.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Coca-Cola
  • 3 tbsp. Fernet Branca
  • 3 tbsp. fresh orange juice
  • Sliced oranges, for serving

Instructions

Step 1

Whisk Coca-Cola, Fernet, and juice in a 9" x 13" baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and place in the freezer. Using the tines of a fork, stir the mixture every 30 minutes, scraping edges and breaking up any ice chunks as the mixture freezes, until granita is slushy and frozen, about 3 hours. Scoop into chilled serving glasses and garnish with orange slices.
