Michel et Augustin Petits Sablés

I bought two packs of these scrumptious little butter cookies, one for me and one for a francophile friend, the very first day Cafe M (the cafe across the street from the SAVEUR office) started carrying them. But they turned out to be too good to gift. For the past three weeks I've been locked in a cycle of re-buying petits sables "for my friend" and then giving in to temptation and eating them all before I saw her. With four different flavors, each in their own tiny, colorful box, this could go on for a long time.
