  • 2 lb. strawberries
  • 3 cups red wine
  • 2 tbsp. berry jam
  • Vanilla ice cream, to serve

Step 1

Build a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill. Cook strawberries until soft, 30-45 minutes; transfer to a cutting board and quarter, if large, or leave whole. Meanwhile, red wine to a boil in a 2-qt. saucepan; reduce to 2⁄3 cup, 30 minutes. Stir in reserved strawberries and berry jam; serve with vanilla ice cream.
